Our Director, Deborah, signed up for St. John's Hospice 50-50-500 Charity Challenge in May to help raise as much money as possible for our wonderful local hospice team.

She enlisted the help of the FBGs (Fat Bottomed Girls) cycling gang to support her at different stages of her 50-mile trip ending at the Hospice! It was a hot day in June when she embarked on this challenge, but with the wonderful support of the FBGs, she did it!

A huge thank you to the lovely ladies at Devils Bridge Caravan for free coffee and flapjack to help me on my way! The Dog Gun Cafe in Sedbergh for a fantastic lunch, a very welcome pit stop! The lovely team at The Royal Hotel in Kirkby Lonsdale who kindly filled up our water bottles and last but not least, The Milking Parlour for their delicious ice creams!

Deborah set up the FBGs in lockdown to provide support to a group of friends who were struggling with social isolation. Through cycling together, we improved our mental and physical fitness and still cycle to this day, laughing, chatting, sometimes crying, but always supporting each other!
