What GCSEs do I need to be a lawyer?
What GCSEs should I take to become a lawyer? To study law, you'll need at least five GCSEs (or equivalent Level 2 qualifications) at grade 4/C or above, including Maths, English Language and Science. Courses are competitive, so you should aim for the highest grades possible.

Can I study law without university?
It's possible to qualify as a solicitor, paralegal or chartered legal executive by completing an apprenticeship. You'll receive a salary and complete classroom and work-based learning

What A levels do you need to study law at Oxford or Cambridge?
The typical offer for Law is A*AA or equivalent. For the full list of equivalent qualifications, see the University's website. The Faculty of Law itself does not have any specific requirements for which subjects you study at A level or equivalent.
Careers in Law
If you are thinking of studying Law, you can now enter the profession through many different pathways including via an apprenticeship, so don't worry if you didn't get the A-level exam results you were hoping for.
